Imo Mochi

I tried a new recipe from a local store. It is called "imo mochi". I made mashed potatoes and added some salt, cornstarch, green onions and little water to them. I rolled the mashed potatoes into small balls and added cheese in the centre of them. I made the balls flat and fried them with olive oil in a frying pan. I dropped some soy sauce in the pan at the end.
The cheese had melted inside and the potatoes were a little chewy because of the starch. I like this new recipe.
I also cooked vegetable gratin. The thick sauce was made by mashing taro potatoes.
Does this look like a potato face?
