Eggplant & Tomato Sauce Pasta

I cooked eggplant, tomatoes and meet sauce pasta for dinner today. We both agreed that the eggplant and tomatoes were great together.

Cold Noodles

It has been really hot since the rainy season has finished. I cooked cold noodles for lunch today. The ingredients were roast beef, egg plant, green peppers, tomatoes, daikon and cucumbers. I put the bowls in the fridge and set ice cubes under the noodles when I served them.

Soba

We had cold soba a different way tonight. The soba had cucumber, okura, beefsteak plant and greated daikon on the top.

Couscous

I made Tunisian-style couscous today. I don't have mixed spices "harissa" so I used coriander and turmeric instead. I had these ingredients at home: chicken, chick pees, zucchini, green peppers, onions, carrots and tomato paste.

Rice Noodle Stir-fry

Today's lunch was rice noodles with pork, qing-geng-cai and some mushrooms. I like cooking the qing-geng-cai for as short a time as I can to help keep its fresh taste.

Cold Buckwheat Noodles (Zaru-soba)

Andrew loves cold buckwheat noodles (soba) with dipping sauce. Buckwheat noodles are usually made from buckwheat flour and wheat flour. Today, almost all of the ingredients of the buckwheat noodles were buckwheat flour.

Curry Udon

I cooked noodles in a curry soup today. I usually cook this on the day after cooking curry. I added some soup stock in the leftover curry to make curry soup. Then I boiled some udon noodles and put them in the curry soup. When I cook curry, I try to cook a lot of it because I want to make curry udon afterwards.

Yakisoba

When I don't have time to cook or no idea what to cook, I cook fried noodles. I brown some meat and some vegetables, and then add some noodles and a bit of Worcester sauce. This is the easiest meal for me to make.

Lemon Pasta with cauliflower

I made some lemon butter sauce for pasta. I like using lemons for my cooking and baking. I also made steamed cauliflower. I tossed the cauliflower with a mixture of Dijon mustard, olive oil, vinegar, and sugar.
