Sweet and Sour Meat Ball

We had an early dinner and went to see some fireworks this evening. I was excited about the trip so I don't remember the taste well.

Salmon Sashimi on Rice

After we went to see the movie Inception and did some food shopping this afternoon, I was tired, so my husband made this salmon sashimi on rice for me. He knows what the dish is like since I have made it many times. It was nice to eat a meal made by someone other than me.

Cold Pumpkin Soup & Sandwiches

Today, lunch was tomato & chicken sandwiches, pumpkin salad and cold pumpkin soup. We have bread these days more often than before. I found that adding some graham into the bread makes it delicious.

Clear Blue Sky

I think I can't see a clear sky most of the time during the summer in Japan because of moisture in the air. That's why I am happy to see the sky that is a nice blue and reflected off water like this morning.

Eggplant & Tomato Sauce Pasta

I cooked eggplant, tomatoes and meet sauce pasta for dinner today. We both agreed that the eggplant and tomatoes were great together.

Cold Noodles

It has been really hot since the rainy season has finished. I cooked cold noodles for lunch today. The ingredients were roast beef, egg plant, green peppers, tomatoes, daikon and cucumbers. I put the bowls in the fridge and set ice cubes under the noodles when I served them.

Orange Sauce

Since the local oranges season has finished, I now have to buy oranges from the U.S. to made sauce for yogurt. I miss orange season here.
